Great place to stay, rooms are outside in a courtyard-garden which makes it quiet with some great spaces to sit outside.
Attention to detail is amazing and well thought out.
Restaurant and breakfast was superb.

Could be a lovely spot for a weekend exploring the area but as it’s an add on to their pub - watch out for extremely noisy party nights and not being able to get in or out due to crowds. No room service (we were told there was) also meant we had no dinner - except for a small cheese plate shared between 3 of us. Breakfast was superb on one day and straight out of the fridge the next with brusque service. Lots of good things too but overall a confusing stressful experience for us on that weekend.

Really Special Hotel
Couldn’t fault it. Lovely setting. Sunny courtyard leading onto a nice dining room and bar. Food was excellent. Staff accommodated all needs. Parking close by - street parking but safe and we never struggled to find space. Our room had a small patio area, and all the amenities you could ever want. Would certainly stay there again.

Ursula Andress room WOW
The hotel is outstanding. We stayed in the Ursula Andress room, wow it was fantastic, a steam room in the room, hot tub and patio with fireplace. They thought of everything. Attention to detail was perfection. Very clean and comfortable. The only small downside was the restaurant staff were very slow. However everyone was lovely, just you don’t want to be in a rush.

Fantastic chic stay in pretty Norfolk village
Had a fabulous stay in the Andress room (which felt more like a private holiday cottage). Room was fantastic, especially the hot tub and steam room, which was a very welcome surprise.
Staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was also excellent.

Tricky. My wife and I just spent a night there as a special festive treat at an overall cost of nearly £500 for bed, board and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the good food and ambience but the experience was very much spoiled by an unnecessary stand-off with the owner over an extra £30 charge for a very marginally late checkout due to an otherwise pleasant slow service breakfast. First time that this has happened to me in over 30 years of travelling and it was the manner of the owner that was the worst of it. Be warned, apparently the £30 charge clicks in every half hour and the whole thing could easily have been avoided.
